Clearing Up Some Myths for People in San Antonio who want Invisalign

For those of you living in San Antonio who want an Invisalign procedure performed at our office, you undoubtedly have some questions about the procedure and some of the myths surrounding Invisalign braces. We here at CDA are very fond of the Invisalign procedure, and want to clear up some myths that have been circulated about Invisalign over the years.

One of the most common myths people bring to our attention is the myth that because they are not traditional braces, Invisalign braces will take longer to do their intended job. The truth is, more often than not, this process takes just as long as standard braces do, sometimes even less time! Since patients come back to have their Invisalign braces refitted every two weeks, this shorter downtime between adjustments helps move the process along.

The other most common myth is that having Invisalign braces will cost more than normal braces. There are too many answers for this myth, other than the fact that it simply is not true. Having performed countless procedures using both types of braces, we know that Invisalign braces cost the same amount as normal ones, and in some cases, end up costing less than normal ones!
We are looking forward to seeing you at our offices in San Antonio for an Invisalign procedure that will completely transform your smile!
