We’re a cosmetic dental office, which is not actually a specialty of dentistry, but it’s a concept of dentistry. It’s the idea that you go to the dentist, you need some dental work done, when it’s done, it looks really good, it looks natural, it looks like nothing happened. Or when it does get done and it’s finished, it really looks good. It looks like a really great smile that you have seen on a friend of yours, or an associate that you just get all like, “Man, I wish my smile looked like that.“
Cosmetic dentistry is that branch of dentistry that helps you get there. And it can take all different kinds of things. Our craziest cases may require surgery and gum surgery and root canals and braces or Invisalign, missing teeth, implants, and then, finally, veneers on the whole set. When you have something that complicated, you need to have somebody that has a lot of experience in all of those areas to bring that together, to make it all balance out the best. The idea of sending someone all over the place – getting some done here, then driving over there and getting that done, and then come back here and go, “Yep. That was okay,“ and then go over there and get it – you do that too much, and that case will get lost. It’ll take forever, it’ll cost a small fortune, and the thing will be so dispersed among different concepts of what would look good that it makes it so hard to do it that way, that it very rarely turns out really good.
So if you can get to a place where you have all of these dental specialties all under one roof, where you can bring them all together and have them all laid out in one comprehensive plan, you can get through it quicker, less expensive, and the outcome looks so much nicer because everything was planned to the same end.
