Questions about Cosmetic Dentistry?

Find Answers to the most frequently asked Questions

How do you know if you are choosing a good cosmetic dentist?

Go to their website, and see what they do. If they are good, they’ll have lots of photos, before and afters, and testimonials.

How much experience should a good cosmetic dentist have?

It’s safe to say that a good cosmetic dentist should have at the very least 50 successful smile transformations under their belt, with good before and after photos as proof! Here at CDA, we have completed several thousand with 35 years of experience.

How important is it for a cosmetic dentist to have their own dental lab?

Extremely important. This way, you can preview your smile before it is finalized. Also, you are more informed of the procedure that you are undergoing, and the materials being used. It lets you know that they are paying close attention to every detail and every step of your smile transformation. You don’t want to have to wait extra time, either, as having a lab cuts down on the time of sending items back and forth from the lab to the office.

By going to a dentist with a lab, you know that your new smile will be perfect, with no corners cut to “make it fit” instead of sending something back to the lab.

What types of procedures do cosmetic dentists perform?

They perform veneers, crowns, implants, orthodontics and Invisalign, gum reshaping, teeth whitening, and more.
